The male body tends to need heavier food and more protein to sustain our type of body mass. And men in general eat more than women, so a vegetarian diet is less likely to be satisfying or sufficient for most men.
No thanks I don’t want to eat vegetables all day and have a skinny body that looks bad due to lack of proteins. And I’m not interested in eating beans for protein I don’t even like beans that much. And people still look bad just by eating beans for protein. Eventually you start looking like a snake face
Because I enjoy life. We are all going to die so why only eat something I don't particularly care for. Secondly vegans are like people who just found jesus, they won't shut up about it. At least that's been my experience with vegan friends and coworkers. Thirdly I need 3000 calories just to maintain my weight and I'm a skinny dude. My entire life would be devoted to eating veggies just to not lose weight.
1. Meat is amazing in taste (and texture often) 2. I think it's an innate desire of men in general to like meat 3. Meat is super filling and helps build muscle, two REALLY important things for men 4. In most cultures vegetarianism is not seen as a morally good thing, and women care a lot more in general about the 'poor little animals'
All that said, I have few problems with vegetarians, ESPECIALLY if they allow themselves to eat fish. It's veganism I don't agree with at all.
First, yes, I enjoy meat, and not planning on giving up soon. Secondly, that's because women are generally more emotional than men, and will follow trends that are based on it. As humans, we are omnivorous, the only reason we'd give up on a part of our diet is either because emotions tell us it's "bad" to kill animals for meat, or because we don't have enough to eat.
I do enjoy better vegetable salads with about 6 oz of protein. I am not able to eat just playing lettuce and a bunch of little vegetables. The lettuce is have a tendency to play havoc on my stomach. Majority of my protein intake is chicken, once a week maybe beef and fish. I have pork at least once every 3 months.
Just not something I considered. I grew up eating fruits, vegetables and meats and I haven’t really experienced any negative health effects that would really warrant me changing my diet, so I just continue eating fruits, vegetables and meats.
I don't really care if the food is meat or vegetarian as long as the food isn't bad I eat it sometimes even though it doesn't taste good I still eat it... life is simple... i'm too lazy to complain about food
Veganism and vegetarianism are usually associated with left wing politics and since many millennial women are left wing, it makes sense that many are vegetarian or vegan.
Men require 2000 to 3000 calories per day while women only require 1600 to 2400 calories. It's hard to get those extra calories from a vegetarian diet, hence men eat meat (which contain more calories per gram).
Provocation: Men are -in average- more rational; where women let their emotions rule more widely. ''We'' eat meat'' because it makes sense: it adds valuable nutrition. Women prefer to add valuable emotions :D
Maybe there are some reasons for that. I believe that being a vegetarian is easier and desirable for women because makes them fit. But it is not suitable enough for men because makes their face thin. Men are more handsome with thick face. moreover, men do not care about fitness as much as women
There's almost no guys who go vegan/vegetarian on the grounds of "think of the animals!" and most guys I know who are vegetarians only do it because their wives are.
As a long term vegetarian (25+ years) I can tell you that guys do get a bit of pressure when others find out. I never worry about it but if a guy had a bit of self esteem issues or something it could be hard.
That an we don't think much of the animals considering they are getting killed anyways so not eating it is actually wasting it and they basically died for nothing
Because men don’t feel the emotions women feel about slaughtering sheep To be honest I think it’s an act of dominance to kill and eat meat and we are the dominant species.
We aren't true omnivores (teeth are a clue). Also we're the only species to have animal factory farms and the like. The extreme level of cruelty and greed generally doesn't exist for anything else. They do it to survive; humans do it for profit.
We have tiny canines indicating they're more of an evolutionary remnant. Omnivores have larger canines but our teeth are mostly flat. We also can't eat meat raw.
Evolutionary remnant, as in historically we have been omnivores who have large canines but they got smaller as we evolved to let took do most of our meat tearing for us, as opposed to vegetarian s who have all flat teeth or no top teeth at all? 😱 Yes keep digging your hole, genius.
It doesn't make sense physically because women need more meat in their diet than men, especially more iron. But it's probably because vegans are based on emotion instead of science. Women are more emotional than men.

"enjoy life" by torturing and killing something else
@Echosoul good to see you found jesus

I don't know. I do think its a cultural thing for men to eat meat, as well as needing more protein and lifting weights.
Women are usually more health concious and do care about animal rights more as well.
Just not something I considered. I grew up eating fruits, vegetables and meats and I haven’t really experienced any negative health effects that would really warrant me changing my diet, so I just continue eating fruits, vegetables and meats.

I’m not sure but it might be a political thing.

I prefer a 3ooo calorie A day diet and I am quite sure what that means to you lol It means that I am a very good cook
Idk… more women think it’s healthier (I disagree) I think everything in moderation is best … less processed foods the best.

Umm hi

Because women are more likely to make decisions based off of their feelings, which is typically what drives people to vegetarianism.
Empathy. Sadly lacking in humans
And every other carnivorous and omnivorous animal apparently lmao
We aren't true omnivores (teeth are a clue). Also we're the only species to have animal factory farms and the like. The extreme level of cruelty and greed generally doesn't exist for anything else. They do it to survive; humans do it for profit.
@Echosoul Ants breed lavae. So no, we aren't the only animal.
And yes, we are omnivores, because we need B12 in an amount that we can't get any other way but through eating meat.
Exactly what at @Echosoul said. Also the teeth argument is awful considering we have canines lmao
We have tiny canines indicating they're more of an evolutionary remnant. Omnivores have larger canines but our teeth are mostly flat. We also can't eat meat raw.

We're basically herbivores capable of eating meat. Evolution is gradual.
We also have tailbones despite lack of tail
@Echosou
"We're basically herbivores capable of eating meat."
Planteaters that are also capable of eating meat? That's called omnivores.
It doesn't make sense physically because women need more meat in their diet than men, especially more iron. But it's probably because vegans are based on emotion instead of science. Women are more emotional than men.
