Ok I know I'm totally overthinking this but I have to ask anyway.
I sent a short, flirty text to a guy with a wink emoji at the end. He responded with just a smiley face with sunglasses emoji. Would you take that response as being not that interested or is that a normal response from a guy.

Texting and trying to interpret emoji selections is so pathetic. If you called and talked on the phone, you would have a MUCH better idea of his level of interest. But it seems that yojnger people are too afraid to actually talk on their phones.

That seems like a normal reaction. I prefer to use the sunglass emoji over all the lovey emojis. It is the "playing it off" emoji. Now if he had sent the vomit emoji, that would indicate a problem.
