At work for example a supervisor said something to me like he was trying to joke around or something but it was only funny to him (he's a delusional nutcase in my opinion) and I asked him what he was talking about several times in a playful way and he totally ignored me and kept walking.
It just makes me feel like furniture. I feel like I waste my time even engaging back with most men when they come up to me at work to say anything not work related because its all sel serving nonsense and they treat me like they are talking to a wall or some inatimate object like it dosnt matter what i say or feel in response to anything they say to me. Its all about them and how they want to feel and what they want to say in every moment. Thats all that matters.

I try to be nice by being a good listener and the thanks i get is a virtual slap on the face.

You should be more assertive.
It would just end up. in an argument. I am not wasting my breath on men I already know are lowlifes.
But what can I do or say thats assertive when men come up to me with their predictable self serving nonsense talk?
Yeah, most people dont like confrontation but you may have to say a few things that will come off as rude in order to let them know you won't take their shit anymore.
I could see myself doing that. I jut have to think of a little line to say so they leave me alone. Also mixed with acting distracted and bored by them.
Probably psychotherapy. They can teach you to become more assertive.
