Do you think it would be weird for me to read a book in a public place like a park, coffee shop, or restaurant?

I have read that some girls find a guy more interested if he is reading because he would appear more cultured, more intelligent, and more high value.
So I was thinking of trying this out in public.

First of all, if you're doing that to go fishing for a girl, it's gonna take a long time. But I think you should still do it. Just try to enjoy the experience of being outside and reading.

I have a feeling if you do that and you end up liking it enough not to care whether or not a lady comes. You'll have a much easier time with woman.

I've done a lot of it. Don't expect it to be a way to meet people. It will be the opposite. People think that you are busy reading and they don't want to bother you.

Some people might ask what you are reading. So potentially it can be an ice breaker. But with most they won't want to bother you.

It's totally normal to do this lots of people do this and i've done it a tons of time before too though I mostly read mangas when I was doing this rather than regular books.
I don't know about America but in France nobody ever bothered me when I was reading?

No I do not think that would be weird but just to do it to get girls attention I don't know. If it is not something you would normally do. But sure read in public I don't think much of it at all and neither does most people
