Does a guy kiss a female friend on the cheek and hug her saying goodbye? does he hold her by the arm while talking to her? does he notice silly things about her? compliment her clothes etc?

Some of these are normal things friends do like the hugging, being observant, and giving compliments but the kiss and holding your arm while talking seems more like a romantic kind of thing but I could be wrong. Sometimes friends do kiss each other on the cheek but you should wait till he says he likes you in a different way if he does.

Kiss on a cheek would be rarely acceptable, hugs when saying high and bye is normal, compliments can be normal and holding your arm while talking isn't normal for friends.
