There is this guy I know. We don’t really know each other, but we greet when we meet and small talk a little bit. I am feeling attracted to him, so I decided to message him. I don’t know if he is into me or not.

But I did message him one week ago and we chatted a little bit.

So I got tired of chatting so I today I texted him that he should take me out one day, after he is off from work or a day he is off. It came naturally because we had just been chatting about something related.

To which he replied that yes sure will be nice, definitely.

But he didn’t ask a specific time or place. So I just put a heart reaction to his message. Now I have initiated us chatting and suggested us going out together so I feel the ball is in his court now (if he is interested). But I am thinking his reply does it sound like something that is gonna happen or he is just being polite and don’t want to reject me in a harsh manner?

Give him a chance to initiate, without bringing this up again. I think it’s cool that you’re trying to get the ball rolling but in a way you’re being pretty forward without getting much in return from him that implies real mutual interest. Like putting it on him to take you out, rather than inviting him to do something and making a plan. It would’ve been a better indicator if he prompted this on his own and went from there. So moral of the story is sit tight, feel free to chat with him but let the grounds even out a bit.

Let him message you about the details if he remembers… if he doesn’t bring it up or not message you at all as a follow up to that last convo, sorry he’s not interested. Do not text him until he texts you first. Ball is in his court right?

he's married so he needs to find a good time to sneak out before he sets up a time to take you out. i would clear my schedule for next Thursday after work. for some reason wives dont think twice when you work late Thursday nights.
