If a guy apologizes for being rude to you is he likely to want to hang out with you in the future?

I messaged a guy after nearly 3 months of not talking because we had an argument. It was an angry message because I had Built resentment about the way he would have talked to me before. Though I didn’t have him on social media anymore I had this number and had texted him via that. He apologized and we had somewhat of a positive conversation but then the conversation reached a dead end when he said there’s nothing to do about what happened. I’m just going to leave it I guess but I was left wondering whether we would connect again in the future and hang out.
