So I’ve been talking to this guy for about a month now. I really like him and he likes me (or liked me at least), we’ve video chatted once before and after requesting I sent him 2 photos of myself, both of which he really liked. He complimented my smile and seemed pretty invested in me afterwords. After that he kept asking for more pictures (non-sexual ones). I don’t like sending pictures too often, especially if I’ve never met them in real life.

Anyway, I eventually sent 2 additional photos of me that weren’t bad, but not as great as the first two I’ve sent. The day I sent them, all he really said was “aww” and “cutee”. I don’t think he liked the way I looked in them that much. Anyway he didn’t text me afterword like he typically does to ask what I’m up to or just text me for the hell of it. (He will occasionally not text me on days, but lately we’ve been talking almost on a daily basis throughout the day)

That night I came to the conclusion that he has completely lost interest in me, and doesn’t want to speak with me again BUTTT the next morning I responded to one of his texts from last night, and said good morning, and his response was “Good morning to u too, cutie”. He also replied very fast, so maybe that’s a good sign? He didn’t really text me much after that the rest of the day. Now I’m really confused. Is he still into me, or Does he think I may have felt insecure and is just being nice? I’m hoping he’s not one of those ‘nice guys’ that will give girls mixed signals just so she doesn’t get her feelings hurt.

He probably has hundreds of girl's photos loaded on his phone. He asked for photos and you sent him two... then he asked for more photos, which you eventually sent. No matter what was said or implied, he expected the second set of photos to be "more revealing", which is why he neglected to text you. I guarantee you that if you had sent him explicit photos of yourself he would have texted you back in a heartbeat--asking you for more photos.

Don't feel too badly. In addition to you, he's most likely playing the same photo game with several other girls. He'll keep in touch with you from time to time, but only on the off chance that you'll send more photos.

You seem to be a nice girl. Walk away before it reaches the point that you get hurt.

I might playfully flirt with a girl I know I have no chance of ever dating especially if I can do it to lighten the mood. I have also been known to pay compliments that might seem like flirting if a girl is too self critical as a way of boosting their self esteem. Like if she complains about having a body part that is too big I might say to her that many guys would like that body part all the more due to it's size.
