Plead the fifth meaning in this context?

I know if someone says I plead the fifth that means I’m choosing not to answer or remaining silent. Freedom to say nothing at all. Now when used in a flirty conversation… if someone says I plead the fifth does that usually mean the answer if affirmative? For example: (after a flirting conversation about liking one another) “you can’t tell me I’m wrong” “I plead the 5th.” Is that him saying yep, I like you but I’m not saying it lol

99% of the time I would take this as a playful affirmative.

"I plead the fifth!" = "I like you but I don't want you to know because I enjoy you trying to get me to admit it!"

But, like all things with communication, context is critical.

Like, are they smiling/laughing? Do they look you in the eye when they say it? If they don't look you in the eye, do they look shy? Or do they look awkward?

If they sound serious, and/or look away from you awkwardly, they are probably trying to just be nice and let you down easy.

But again, I've only ever seen it done in a playful way.
