If you weren’t ready for whatever reason, would you work on yourself and go back to the girl? Or would you just say it to make her feel better but not actually mean it?
I think this is more about knowing what type of guy you are personally dealing with, rather than the outside opinions. I only say this because even if some dudes comment and say positive things like yes the have gotten themselves sorted and went back, it may give you false hope that the dude you’re dealing with will do the same thing (assuming you are referring to a personal situation), when in reality that may not be his intention. You’d be better off leaving that guy alone and focus on yourself rather than hope for change..
