I would like some honest opinion. I live in a city that is considered a beach city, so I was planning to wear that to the beach. However, my boyfriend who is long distance got pretty mad and restrictive about it. I need to explain that he had been demanding a lot of things from me due to the distance and his insecurities: stop having male friends, stop posting pictures on social media, not going to the gym, not going to celebrations, not going to pubs, i accepted all these things. He says the distance makes him insecure. He also told me he didn't want me showing my belly. I showed him this dress, as it doesn't show the belly, and he refused to accept I wanted to wear it. I was so tired of his demands that i decided to stand my ground for one day (even for a stupid issue like a dress) and tell him I would wear that dress but I still loved him and it was up to him whether to stay with me or not. He started crying and saying that if I loved or cares about his feelings and insecurities I wouldn't be doing this. Then he completely stopped answering my texts. I need some advice, honestly. He's a good man, loyal to me and supportive, but these things made me develop a lot of resentment towards him.
Ps: I literally was absolutely loyal to him throughout this years long distance. He is planning to come and live in my city and he says he's restrictions will lessen once he's with me, but I somehow doubt it.
