Why does he suddenly rush things?

It’s been more than 1 year we turn around each other… but he is shy with me.

it wasn’t easy to see him so I finally gave up.

lately he started to propose me a lot of things …he wants to see me and I felt we re close to kiss…

but he s leaving soon for a lonely backpack trip (5-6months).

so why is he suddenly rushing things? It’s like he s having no time to waste now and wants me.
