A guy that you barely speak to but always catch him staring?

I have a group of people i work with and were all pretty close considering we just work together however there’s one guy in the group that i haven't spoken more than three words too. He doesn't say much to me in general which makes me think he dislikes me for some reason but i always catch him staring at me. We had a house party a few weeks ago and he was on the couch and i was across him sitting at the table when i looked up from my phone to see him yet again just staring at me. I looked away since it was getting awkward and i glanced back to see him still staring. Im usually friendly in nature but the vibe im getting is he just flat out doesn't like me which makes it harder for me to even start up a conversation with him💀
