if a guy who says hello to you always, either sounding very serious or somewhat happy. but then he switched to a “heyy”. i know it’s not that big of a deal so i was wondering if that COULD mean anything

Girls at your age want to analyze every word and every action but that's a mistake. His tone of voice on a particular day may be unpleasant because of something he feels about you, or it could be that he just didn't get enough sleep last night, or he's got stomach cramps.

How did you respond to his initial enthusiastic "hello's"? Could be he was looking for something back from you and didn't get it, so now you get "hey" instead. Or, he could just be dealing with some personal stuff. My question to you is - does the fact that you notice this change in his greeting mean anything to YOU?
