I was dancing with a guy and we were holding hands, every so often he would squeeze my hands and look down at me, what do you think the reason is if there is one?

I actually really like doing with women, for me at least its a way of me silently reasurring her that im big and strong, that i shall protect her and that im here for her. I actually barely even do it conciously, i kind of just do it without thinking about it because it feels right, it feels good to let her know that im here.
