Guys, For tall guys what does it feel like to be a tall guy?

For all the men out there who are tall is being a tall guy 6'2 and over all that it's made out to be. I'm 5'5 and most of my guy friends are short as well. It doesn't bother me being a short guy aa I'm good looking being slender/athletic with warm hazel eyes. I'm just wondering what's life like from up high?

I love being tall (6’4”), but it wasn’t always that way. I grew so fast as a preteen that I was much taller than my peers for a while, and it made me feel very uncomfortable, awkward and I became extremely introverted. Today I am totally good with it. So, here are some pros and cons of being a tall guy, from my experience...

Cons: Bumping my head on things. Having to contort my body and risk my well being in the shower to get my head under short shower heads. Those rare moments when you meet a guy taller than you and find out how much you don’t like looking up at another dude. Cramped airline seating. Trying to sleep on anything smaller than a king size bed. Pool floats. Long sleeved shirts that are never long enough in the arms.

Pros: Gals who admiringly say “You’re so tall!”. Being able to reach things on the top shelf without asking for help. Being taller than almost all women (and most men). Being able to see above crowds. Being able to stand on my feet in 5.5’ of water and still have my head above water. Not needing a step ladder to wash an SUV or truck. Nicknames like ‘big guy’, ‘big [my name]’, etc.

In summation, overall, I think it feels great to be a tall guy!

I'm 6' 5". It doesn't feel physically any different. At least once a week someone asks me how tall I am though. I have really long arms to boot. So finding shirts that fit me in the arm length is next to impossible. Let me tell you big and tall stores are more for BIG and less for tall. But when you're well over 6 feet it's a daily reminder that it's a 6 feet and under world. Stadium seats are uncomfortable. I have to sit with my legs pointed at an angle to avoid my knees smacking the seat in front of me. Mirrors in bathrooms are mounted too low. And you really can't own a compact car. So you have to shell out extra cash for a full size car or at least a mid size to have some comfort.

Other than not being able to find clothes or cars that I can fit into, I don't really even notice any difference from when I was short. However, I haven't ever been able to find a bed where my feet don't hang over the end, anymore. I'm 6' 9".
I tend to bump my head more often than most people.
I also can't seem to find a girlfriend!! They all CLAIM they want tall guys but, here I am!! Where are they? CHASING AFTER SHORT GUYS!!

I’m very tall. It feels bad when I bump my head into things and it’s uncomfortable to have to duck to wash my hair. It’s annoying when the passenger in front of me (almost never someone who is tall) puts their seat back during a flight. On the other hand, it feels good in most cases and sometimes being tall has intimidated aggressive people and helped me avoid fights.

It's amazing man. Na I'm just joking. I cannot tell you if it is over rated or not. I'm 6'1 but I don't ever think about my height and how it is affecting my experience. I can reach things. Buying pants can suck. Buying shirts can suck. Has pros and cons.

6'1 is just above average in my opinion. Tall doesn't start until 6'2 in most cases.

It's awesome!!! The only issue is that the air is so thin that sometimes I get lightheaded.

But really, it kind of sucks. Guys your height get to motorboat tall girls while dancing. You can probably buy shoes in regular stores for normal prices. You can buy any car you want and not have to replace or have the driver's seat removed and reseated farther back. You can sit comfortably in a back seat. The list goes on and on.

A tall guys said hel likes to say it's raining and spit on the shoeter person's head. I am glad that someone else also knows what short means, even though you're an inch taller than me. There's a 5'7" guy on here saying that he can't get a girlfriend because he's short. He's not, we are. If we can't get a girl, our height may be a factor more so than his.

To be honest I don't think there is any difference except for getting stuff off the top shelf. lol. also sometimes I can't fit onto spaces where being shorter would have really helped. . I don't know why some people make such a big deal out of a person's height.

If you want to know, adjust your shower curtain rod so that it's at the height of your forehead, then repeatedly walk into it while playing a looped recording of someone asking you to get something from the top shelf.
