Because women are pretty and it’s nice to have something pretty to look at
Men are visual. We enjoy looking at pretty girls. And it's extra nice if we have a connection with them. In most cases, it's really not more complicated than that.

They think they’re not exploiting someone’s privacy by asking for pictures and instead they expect women to share more pictures so that they can comment on their beauty or whatever.
