Why do guys randomly ask for pictures or videos?

I started talking to this guy a couple days ago. He messaged me through Instagram he liked my pictures that I had on my story. A couple hours ago he asked me to send a picture or video. Not a nude one. But in my head I’m thinking about the worst reason he could be using it for.

Have to say that on GAG, the sword, cuts both ways. Months ago, a girl asked about penis size, and many guys put in their length, and girth, as did I. It might be one reason because nowadays it is not that uncommon anymore. That is the type of attention whores men and women have become.
