Hi, I am working on a project with this guy who is 20 years older than me. We met a couple of times but it was always project related, so we mostly discussed that. Last week he needed to take a trip somewhere and this week he said that he is happy he already went on this trip because now it would be harder for me if he wouldn't be available since we have some work to do for that project. I jokingly responded that this week I wouldn't even allow him to go, since I can't do all the things myself. He laughed and said, "It's a good thing that I am not married so that I don't have anybody else to prevent me from going to do things". A couple of days later we emailed about some things and he again mentioned that he is happy he went on that trip earlier since I wouldn't allow him to go this week (with a winking face emoji).

It sounds like there is some low level flirting going on so I would say, yes, he probably does especially since you're younger than him.
