Guys do you ever notice when a girls makes a effort to look nice for you?

This is one that aways annoys me about the opposite sex even before I was in a relationship.

I'll make a massive effort to look nice for him which takes forever. I'll shave, fake tan, do my hair, nails, makeup etc I'll spend hours trying to find the prefect outfit and they just talk straight past you as if your invisible that used to really upset me.

My boyfriend notices every so often and he will say I look pretty but then he pays more attention to me when I've got no makeup, not shaved in weeks and I'm wearing my joggers I think why do I bother.

I don't even were lingerie anymore because by time I'm done making myself look sexy and go back into the other room he's asleep. If he wants it he'll came and get it and I've just spent £60 of some expensive bra and knickers for nothing

It's definitely worth the effort but you don't want to go too far with it where it gives off a fake or unnatural vibe. Bodily hygiene, some light makeup, clothes you feel confident/cute in, smell nice... that basically checks the boxes for me.

Fake tan, too much makeup, overly dressing up where it's not your natural look, stuff like that is typically NOT going to be attractive, so that's where you can avoid wasting too much effort.

Do you compliment the guy's looks as often as you want him to compliment yours? Especially if he works out which takes much more time effort and energy than trying to look appealing with clothes, etc.

Yes I always tell my boyfriend he's cute, handsome, sexy etc and give him loads of affection.

Yes I definitely notice. Also if she puts no effort into looking nice for me after meeting up a few times that is a huge red flag she’s not interested in me.

I definitely notice when the women I know are making an effort. It might be because I have a basis of comparison, but for what it’s worth, I definitely notice and definitely appreciate it.

Yeah, I used to guilty of this when I was younger. But now I appreciate when a girl gets dressed up for me. In fact I make my wife wear lingerie to bed every night.
