My housemate keep buying stuff but we don't have enough space in the house to keep it?

I'm sharing a place with a guy who loves to buy stuff. Literally every week he will bring new appliances or kitchen stuff home!

The problem is we don't have enough space to keep all those things. now his stuff is clutter everywhere in the kitchen & dining room which connected to the living room. Make the house look messy. Most of the stuff he bought is not even unopened! Still in original packaging.

I don't know how to talk him about it. He has his own space to keep his stuff in the kitchen, I guess it's full now.

His stuff starts taking up the whole space in the kitchen. What to do?

If their things invade your share of space then it’s a problem. As an adult dealing with a roomie there’s going to be times like this where issues need to be addressed and you can’t worry too much about how they’re gonna take it. Be polite, ask him if he could please be mindful when purchasing those items because it’s starting to take over/invade your areas and that’s disrespectful to you, or however you want to word it. Keep in mind tho that some people are stuck in their ways, so he may keep being troublesome in which case you should start looking for a new roomie.
