So I'm a girl who plays soccer on a local co-ed highschool team. There's this guy, who I'm friends with. He's such a gentleman, sweet, respectful, makes sure I'm okay If I get injured during a game. I'm the only girl he really talks to on the team, and one of the only people he genuinely talks to (besides his best friend) when we warm up or on the sidelines. If we're both out on field by the end of the game, he walks with me back to our team and we talk (he usually compliments me like: "You did really great" or "That was really awesome"). He always highfives/dap me up after a game (but never to the other girls). We're usually found walking together or just talking at the game. He looks at me a lot. I always end up overworking myself in games (running too hard, etc).
About a week ago, I had a horseshow and fell off my horse, then around a day after I had a soccer game. I still went and played for most of the game (my leg hurt to walk on it), I managed to sprint and block goals. But by the end of the game, my leg was trembling and I struggled to walk back. It hurt a lot and I was breathing really hard. He walked with me the whole time back to our team (pretty close) and asked if I was alright and if I needed to, just to lay down. When we were walking to our parents, we did a handshake but his hand lingered longer than a normal handshake and he sort of squeezed it.
I think I like him and he might like me. He doesn't seem interested in any of the other girls (and have any friends who are girls besides me). I'm not sure if he does like me, but how can I somewhat figure out without being obvious?
