It depends really. He could like her but not ready to be in a relationship and maybe has a lot going on in his life.

From my personal experience, I used to spend time with a man who didn’t want anything serious with me and when I left him he would do the same. Truth be told, if you decide to go back to him if/when he comes back, it will be the same story. It’s in his nature to not want an relationship, no one can change his mind but for himself. He probably still likes you and that why he looks at your Facebook but his intentions with you is not the same as your intentions with him
