If you still want an answer seriously, then let's just say that some people are really terrible people. I personally do not cheat, under any circumstances! Another thing with cheaters is that a lot of them are very attractive. I do not like flirting so If I ever found a girl, there is no way that I would went out to search for another one, lol! But some people do. And that's regardless of the gender. Attractive people are in general cheating more. Doesn't mean that an attractive partner would cheat for sure but you have more chances that if you were with a less attractive one.

Probably because they don't value serious relationships and commitments to begin with. See more worth and fun in getting around with others keeping someone 'stuck' on themselves.

Even if some value the commitment (although not as much as they should), they get tempted and slip under circumstances.

Cheating occurs for plenty of other complex reasons for both genders varying from sexual dissatisfaction to issues related to emotions, communication and interaction etc.

The problem could be very private rooted into things in the relationship. Matters related to mentalities, perceptions, things left unsaid or something he might feel is lacking without even actively acknowledging it but feeling it's impact. There's nothing to justify about cheating but there are at times, long complex reasons like this or things as simple as getting bored of the partner sexually or emotionally or both but still attached enough to not leave their partner.
