How to help a sick man?

I was sick for the last few days and got better on my own.

Today, my husband got the same symptoms, but he’s not handling it well…I’d expect to hear him make these sounds if his leg got cut off, not from a fever…

He’s scaring me and I don’t know how to help.

I used some tiger-balm to soothe the pain in his back to help him sleep and got him to drink a ridiculous amount of water.

After a decent nap, his fever is gone and he feels well enough to eat.

Be on the lookout for a strange virus that mimics an extreme case of the flu but disappears unusually fast.

(The unique symptom of this one seems to be extreme joint pain, but only of one joint that has been injured in the past…and the pain gets INTENSE)

Make him nutritious food. Maybe a green pea plate with green beans.

I tried but he threw up.

This is what happened to me on the first day of being sick also…even the smell of food caused gagging. ☹️

Gatorade until he is able to handle things. Drive to a gas station since many sell it. Also get him to drink ginger lemon tea. As much as possible. I drink honey mixed with tea when I have a cold but I don’t know if it also works for the flu. The most important thing is hydration, not food. Most people can go weeks without food, and some can go months without food.

Unfortunately I’m partially blind and cannot drive, but I do have gatorade, green tea and organic honey.

Get him to the Hospital if he's that bad

He says he refuses to go to the hospital unless his fever passes 101.

It’s 101.2 now.

Definitely not covid.

I’m sick also.

It feels like a mild strain of flu.

The fever only lasted about 24 hours for me and peaked at 101.9 before slowly going back down.

He’s basically telling me he needs a doctor and refuses to pay medical fees…this is stressful.
