I met him and we went out a few times. I last sent him a text yesterday and he didn’t respond yet:(. He said he was gonna miss me and I think he meant it. I miss him but clearly he doesn’t like me:(just wanted to rant

Saying he’s going to miss you doesn’t mean he wants to pursue you, and not necessarily because of disinterest but the practicality of your situation. If he’s abroad then that’s some major LDR and that kind of relationship is not meant for everyone. I’m sorry if you’re saddened over the situation but from a less emotional standpoint this may be for the better.
I should also note that he may still respond, maybe he’s just not quick about it, but what I said is something to consider as well.
