Guys, Only one sexual partner?

Hi

Im 33 years old, i have only have ONE sexual partner, for 10 years, the same person. Now im divorce i will like to know if men will feel ok knowing that I have been only with one guy my entire life. Is this a dealbreaker for men? Or is a positive thing?

I shows you are faithful, don't put it about, and based on your age/length of relationship - sounds like you lost your virginity at a more mature age, rather than too young - all good traits!

It also means, when a more experienced guy comes along, he'll probably open your eyes to more things and you'll rediscover sex all over again - I've been there with 4 women I can think of (out of my total), and it's a nice feeling - one was 40 with 4 kids, and one was 48 and divorced, so it's lovely to know the sexual journey of discovery never ends!

From what you've written about yourself I can only surmise that you were in a 10 year relationship, so you know what a relationship is, that you're loyal and you value marriage.

Oh divorce is not a failure to me. I got married young and we grew apart, and it was mutual, no harm, hate or anything, just different life paths and we share a child, so we get along pretty well

I don't know how hard it will be to find someone. Maybe a single father wouldn't care? He'd value you being present in his kids life more than you having a huge body count, maybe.

It will be a deal breaker for some but not for many. Particularly the men who recognize that you're divorced (that may be more of an issue than your sexual history). But, look at it this way, the guys for whom that's a dealbreaker are helping you by getting themselves off your list and allowing you to not waste your time on them.

For most men who are looking for something serious that is a good thing. Now if you had been w 15 different dudes maybe not so much unless they were just looking to be your 16th. I think you’re fine. I think that would make him feel a lot better. It’s also a good thing because it shows that you’re committed to a relationship w the right person. Yes some men say it doesn’t matter if she’s been w a lot of people, but most won’t take that type of girl home to meet their family.

Eh. Honestly don't think most men care. The number being low is generally better than it being high, although any guy who cares about that beyond extremes I'd avoid.

Now you having been in a committed relationship for 10 years will always be important. At that point it is a part of you. But as long as you don't repeatedly compare any new guy to the old one it'll be fine. Of course, internally you can compare all you want.
