They'd be horrified- the men of today let black people vote, and even made one of them PRESIDENT! They don't meekly submit to slavery, they question the dictates of their governments, they tolerate different ideas (even ::gasp!:: Communism) in their friends and neighbors, and they have the audacity to claim it was morally WRONG to imprison people without trial or charge based purely on their ethnic origin! They not only let gays marry, they let them marry interracially! They think beating children and teaching them that violence is the way to solve problems is incorrect, and that mandating their children go to college might end up dropping the value of a degree, to say nothing of enabling the government institutions that control college funding to indoctrinate entire generations. Then, of course, there's the way we portray the war as a conflict against the horribly bigoted Nazi regime (oh, and the Italians too) (and also the Japanese, if we remember to mention them) when the Nazis had a good deal of support in the US, and we didn't even declare war on Germany until after Hitler declared war on US.
On the less morally disgusting side, they'd be appalled at the way we blithely tolerate the destruction the destruction of the American manufacturing sector; see the rise of the military-industrial complex and defanging of American labor unions as little short of treason, possibly even advocating for the use of Amazon to warrant prison time; sickened by the erasure of the line between our political and corporate oligarchs, and generally disapproving of the way we've let economic globalism consolidate power in ever-fewer hands.
See, I actually met some World War 2 veterans- I know there's nothing particularly "heroic" about someone who willingly goes to war; not inherently, at least. Where moral rectitude is thrust aside, there IS no greatness.

It is impossible to say for certain what World War II veterans would say about men of today, as every individual is different and would have their own unique perspective.
However, it is safe to assume that they would be proud of the progress that has been made in terms of human rights and equality, as many of them fought to defend those principles. They would likely also appreciate the advancements in technology and the many ways in which it has improved the quality of life for people around the world.
On the other hand, they may also be disappointed with certain aspects of modern society such as lack of civic duty and sense of community, lack of discipline and self-sacrifice, and the overall decline of traditional values and morals.
It's also important to keep in mind that the experiences of veterans of World War II, like any other war, were unique and shaped by the time and place in which they lived. It would be unfair to make generalizations about their opinions on today's society without knowing them and their personal experiences.
I can tell you what they would say, because my maternal grandfather was a bombardier and my paternal grandmother was a navy nurse during the war, and I had conversations with both of them (and with my parents) about their thoughts on modern society and today's males and females. They were both disgusted with what passes as women and men today and afraid for what future generations will be like.
"Dang they sure got a lot more dudes with muscles than we had in our generation" 😳

They would very correctly be disgusted by us.
The generation of my grandfather would say that the millennials as a complete generation both men and women are subhuman complain too much cry too much never attempt anything unless it's very easy and success is guaranteed.
We went from neckbeard's saying that everything is ironic when it wasn't because Americans don't know what irony means, to the weak cry baby accusations of being offended by everything and oftentimes being offended for someone else.
The greatest generation would look at the millennials and below and say these people don't know how to take care of a task at hand without crying complaining and pointing fingers and that often would have them excluding the actual task at hand in favor of complaining.
This is for both men and women of the millennial generation because what millennials brought was nothing but sub-human tactics like complaining pointing the figure false accusations it's not my job crying and never standing up to take on difficult tasks or ever reaching for excellence.
It's only about get rich quick schemes blaming whatever on other people and my favorite with millennials is millennials committing the crime and then pointing fingers like other people made them do it and on top of that their love and passion for Republicans and Trump. Voting for Republicans means that you hate your country because Republicans have never done a thing to help the American people since Nixon.
My Grandfather and Great Uncle who was at Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941 use to always just say stuff like how's it going and sit around and listen to what we had to say and watch all of us interact and live life. They were men of few words. They didn't call attention to themselves or brag about their war stories. They are tough experiences. Talking them up would just bring back the pain, and that's hard on most... They aren't looking for recognition for how tough they are or what they've done. They know where they've been... They just want to live life like everyone else.
Most would be upset that we are trying not to be racist. Most would be upset that we call cigs bad. Most would be upset that people have less worship of god. Most would be upset that people are less sexist and less homophobic.
Soldiers may have died to stop dictatorship from Hitler but it don't mean those soldiers didn't have backward views themselves.Pretty sure a lot would be ashamed or disappointed. These are guys who sacrificed everything in one of the darkest moments of history and they lost friends and family in that time and some came home not all there physically or mentally. These guys were tough as nails. A lot of men today probably wouldn't be able to hold a candle to these guys.
I was working at LAX, when our men were coming back from Iraq, on crutches, in wheel chairs, missing both arms, both legs, missing an eye, faces burned to almost nothing more than scar tissue.
One soldier in a wheel chair, missing both legs told me "We're at war, shit happens" Don't tell me that the men of today are pussies. I looked many in the eye and looked at what they sacrificed
They'd be very proud I'd suspect of a world where people can be free and happy and not have to live in worry of others.
They would say men are weak and fragile but then again their isn't a war or anything drastic happening for men to have to be strong and brave today.
The men would probably call modern men soft, and women would call modern women sluts. I know what you're trying to do here, but the reality is neither men or women measure up to the values of past generations. So before you feed into a gender war, look in the mirror. Chances are you're not all that either.
I think they would be happy that none of us ever had to go through what they did. We are very fortunate to live free like we do and a lot of it has to do with them.
We don't thank them enough.
The Men of WW2 would wonder how the hell did Nazis become so popular after starting a conflict that killed over 80 million people.
"Why are these men worrying so much about how manly other men are? I fought so you could express your freedom, not complain about how somebody else expresses theirs."
they'd take over the reigns of the current soft men in power and displace them. then they'd outlaw all woke ideology and reinstate the nuclear family unit
That we are amazing and they'd be proud of us.
Have a hard time acknowledging that times could change that quickly. What they called heroic masculinity could be today referred as toxic.
I do believe that the hero’s of ww1-2 are spinning in their graves to see what the world has become.
My father and all the other guys that lived in my neighborhood would be pretty disgusted at what wimps guys are today.
I know what they would say because I've known/met some WWII veterans and it differs.
Probably would depend upon whether they were looking at Rangers, SEALs, Marines, and PJ's, or at the soy boys.
