I get annoyed when a guy or a worker who I just met calls me "love"
It feels like disrespect. What do you think?

I am guessing that he has an affinity for you. If it bothers you then gently with a big smile say, "my name is..., the his name." If he doesn't stop then then he is a purposeful irritating SOB !!
When i played with the Brits during University soccer, the girls would always call me "love". Or, "are you bloody chasing that woman, love... you're a mess lovey."
I have never heard a guy say "love" unless in jest and smart ass back. And usually it comes with a "why don't you love up on this love"
You know the vibe, tone, and pitch as I am not there...
Yeah exactly vibe does really matter. He was the doctor who examine me. American. Late 30's. He was also "I'm gonna put my arms on your breast I apologize in advance" While he does ultrasound around my neck
Yes it is disrespectful. It would have been more appropriate if he calls you " Dear" instead.
The doctor who seen me called me "Love" I mean was he flirting with me? Or looking down on me?
So you think he was looking down then? He's most probably 10-12 years older than me
I kinda liked him though 😂 But I got pissed when he called me love
He said he's gonna out his arms on my breast he apologize in advance
He was doing ultrasound on my neck. He needed to put his arms on ny breast. that's what he said
how old are you?
I agree, it does kinda annoy me when a guy calls me love or babe or honey or sweetheart or anything similar, it seems a bit disrespectful and even a bit demeaning. I call others by their name and I guess I expect the same in return.
