What is a way to calm an extremely nervous guy?

So there is this guy who keeps coming up to talk to me at my workplace, and although he always seems so extremely nervous around me, he keeps coming anyway which I respect.

He asked me out for a date but seems so extremely nervous to the point where I feel kinda bad and don't know if I should do something to calm him down haha

He seems to not even be able to answer with a full sentence although I know that he is well capable of speaking

Or should I just ignore it?
