Why are people calling men who compliment women on here simps?

Many boys in your generation grew up on the iPad and never socialised with people outside. when i was a boy i would talk to women and go on dates and stuff. a lot of the boys from your generation's parents just put the ipad in their faces and never taught them how to be socialized. they learned everything on a screen instead of in real life. in the past, people could learn and remember advanced concepts but some people cannot even remember their own birthday or phone number. learning abcs on an ipad is not how you are supposed to learn it.

That's why a lot of the boys your age never learned how to talk to girls and they get angry when they see a guy who is able to talk to girls. it is not their fault their parents were fooled into believing that those screens are good for their kids. but the screens just made them dumber and now they have weak social skills. if you look at some public schools they look like a prison with gates and a yard with policemen. That's because they are not meant to educate those kids. they do not go outside or do anything anymore and they are stuffed in a prison-like environment.

They are victims who are now nothing useless idiots who are being used to make women feel uncomfortable around men. now, less women will help stand up for men's rights and women won't have men to stand for their rights either. its sad but the computer screens where they learn silly words like "simp" has already pushed them to the point of no return.

things will get worse before they get better.

I don't consider a guy that gives a woman a compliment a simp. I have no way of knowing whether it's genuine or not, so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. I believe a simp is a guy that constantly seeks the attention of women, whether for compliments or conversation. There is a guy on here that is constantly posting pictures of himself, while basically looking for women to compliment him. He'll ask, "how does my hair look? I'm such a good looking guy. Don't you agree"? Among other cringe worthy questions. If he does get attention from a girl, he goes INSANE. He'll call them "mommy" or "my queen" and ask for pictures. If a girl gives him any criticism, he becomes an incel. He has a lot of mental problems. There are some women on here that aren't much different.

From what I've been able to figure out us its part of red pill terminology and the when a user calls a guy a simp it seems that user is implying that a simp is only giving a compliment to get something specific from that woman but that otherwise the compliment disingenous. I had to ask another user about it though that's not here anymore about all those terms, lol.

Well let me tell you why… when you do something immoral like posting half nude pictures on the internet or try and win sympathy from a situation you were at least partially in the wrong for, do you think you deserve to be praised? Any man that praises a woman for nudes is a simp. He should be castigating you not praising you.

Bragging is immoral and shouldn’t be encouraged. Furthermore women get too much attention as it is. It’s good for you to have the men that call you out for your bullshit and hold other men that don’t accountable.

Guys can be just as catty as girls when it comes down to it. So when one guy compliments a girl, and the other says something like he's a simp, they're just trying to knock the guy giving the compliment down a peg or two. But really, it reflects poorly on the guy calling the other guy a simp more.

I do wish our society valued education and intelligence more. When i was young, “simp” was short for ‘simpleton’ and it was a comment on someone’s intelligence. It had nothing to do with their self worth. A better educated young people would have come up with another term. They are similarly misusing “cuck”. Short for ‘cuckold’, which is really just the act of raising another person’s offspring. Named for the cuckoo bird. Some of which lay their eggs in other birds’ nests, leaving them to raise their progeny. Ell oh ell!

It’s a tactic embraced by both the “Alpha Males” and the “Incels” to express radical misogyny. They insist that any man who is defferential, empathetic, friendly, or helpful to a woman is “simpering.” It is patently ridiculous. We can all identify simpering, and it is not expressing complimentary sentiments to a woman whom you will never meet.

It’s best to ignore them. Their only ability to warp reality to their desired form lies in our willingness to engage with their nonsense.

People have different views on how to treat women. I once asked a question about if a guy can hit a woman. I had plenty of people who said "Sure, Why not?" Then somebody told me I was a simp and that I was what was wrong with the world. The irony was that this person was a woman.

The ones who do that are incels who have grown to hate women so much that they think showing any kindness to women is being a simp.
They've deluded themselves to believe that by insulting women or ignoring them, these guys somehow are "signs" or "alpha", when in reality they're just immature and bitter.

Well, there is a huge difference between complimenting and simping, and it does not take a nobel prize laurate to see the difference.

For example. I keep my compliments few, so they don't lose their meaning.

Also, simps flood the person with a compliment word salad to the point it warps the girls ego.

I personally only ever say short compliments and never exaggerate them.

Depends on how they compliment them. Some guys think by sucking up to females, or being a White knight, they'll impress the girl and get their respect. Couldn't often be further from the truth. It looks groveling, and the girl often looks at him as a guy to walk all over.

If they don’t agree the girl or woman in the picture is pretty they might think the compliment is not legit if other people call her pretty. So they assume that he is being a simp when they compliment a female they view as unattractive or not pretty.
