Summary of the movement: Basically grown men moaning and crying like b*&%#$ because most men die in war, most men commit suicide, most men don't graduate high school or college, most men are addicted to video games and pornography or some sort of substance, most men are unemployed, most men die while at work, most men die of cancer, most men are homeless.
In order words men are socially expendable and women aren't according to them and they are pissed about that.
As society changes, there are always issues that need to be addressed. If something is unfair, bring awareness to it and work to fix it. But I think issues need to be addressed individually instead of lumping them together as a "men's rights" movement, which pits men versus women.
But MRM seems similar to radical feminism in that it is driven by vocal, bitter "activists" who blame the entire opposite gender for their woes. "Boo hoo hoo, women have too many rights". That's pathetic. It's a desire to return to times when women had no rights and had to get married to survive. Women were property.
A lot of these guys think they should be submissive, dependent, and only useful for sex, producing offspring, and doing housework. They can't even conceive of women as human beings with equal intellectual capabilities.
Why are these guys complaining about men doing traditionally manly things that require strength, stamina, grit, and perseverance? Farming, construction, fire fighting, combat, ? And why are they threaten by women who want to engage in such activities? Are they afraid that they can't compete against women?
I have relatives who are successful farmers. I've never seen more perfect examples of "alpha" in my life. The women work as hard as the men, but the men are powerful, no nonsense and resolute. They don't bitch. They just get shit done. They might plow 40 acres, put up the hay, store the grain, care for livestock, and work on machinery all before breakfast. They hunt and fish. They take care of their families. The girls do farm work, are sports stars, go to college, and are sweet but hard as nails. The boys are as manly as you can get. Along with doing the same farm work as their dads, they are football and baseball stars, ride bulls, drive in oval track car races, have beautiful, wholesome girlfriends.
The families help their communities and are respected.
So, maybe some of these MRM guys need to stop complaining about everyone else, pull of their socks, and act like men that women will respect. Maybe they should stop wishing for weak women that they can dominate.
I actually prefer women who are feminine, love being female, but are also smart, educated, hard working, ambitious, accomplished, have self-esteem, and are determined to be dependent on no one but themselves. They want a male partner because they admire men and love sex, not because they need a daddy to take care of them. If they are adored and respected, they will do anything for their partner. They are tender, caring, and nurturing. But they are not servants or door mats. They don't wait to be married before experiencing sexual pleasure but will be 100% loyal once they do marry, because they are mature enough to understand the nature of commitment and to make that commitment responsibly.
I do think some (not all) men who embrace MRM are weak and superficial, but some of the points they make are valid. They should take responsibility for themselves instead of blaming others for their failures. But I absolutely support activism to correct any individual laws that are inequitable. Working for justice is honorable.
There are 2 sides of this argument. Before I write down my opinion, I want to explain both so you can understand each side.
Those who are anti-MRA usually either see them as misogynistic if they are a liberal, or bitch-made if they are a conservative. Liberals believe that MRAs are gaslighting folks into believing that women are no longer oppressed and that men are facing more oppression. The conservatives that oppose the movement think that these men need to grow a pair of balls and man up because them complaining about being expendable is pathetic, because men were always expected to give up the lifeboats for women (titanic reference).
On the flipside, those who are pro-MRA generally believe that being a man in western society is no longer respected or appreciated. That feminism has killed chivalry, and that the institution of marriage is controlled by the government. They also believe that women have more power in custody court and that their word can put an innocent man in prison.
Based of these 2 arguments, you can make your own opinion. I think I fairly represented both sides of the aisle here. My personal opinion? I think that there's some merit to it. Of course I don't support it as a movement, but I don't think it's fully obsolete either. I think that the laws (which are controlled by men) need to change to become more accommodating for men to want to get married again and not lose half of their assets after a divorce. The only reason I don't agree is when they say they are "oppressed" because the government (which is majority men) are the one's benefiting from all of this. Did you know that the government takes 66 cents for every dollar paid in child support? There are MEN in suits out there benefiting from these feminist laws, all while the common man gets to suffer. Feminism needs men to succeed, so if you want to tackle the problem, you should focus more on these guys instead and you will have your answer. Going at women only makes these guys look weak, because the power that women have in society can only be given to them by men.

The man right movement is importent to highlist issues that exsist and some may find it more comftruble to ignore, same as the real femnist that want to deal with real issues, not inconvinced or personal issues

I definitely think that more attention needs to be paid towards the well-being of men….. many are conditioned from childhood to be tough and strong and not show emotion, and they don’t have good father figures in their lives. I’ve seen how damaging it can be when they’re not taught how to properly deal emotions.
and this leads to male victims of domestic abuse and sexual abuse not reporting it and not seeking help because they feel like less of a man. There are so many programs out there for female rape victims and female domestic violence victims, but men don’t really have as many places to turn to. Male victims are often laughed at in the media.

I can understand where they are coming from and I´d say they bring good points in social discussions. But for me the question should: What do you expect? There will never be a world where women and men live completely fair for anyone. What do they want? Being acknowledged for getting out of bed? I don´t know...
There´s always be advantages and disadvantages of being either men or women, you can´t have it all. Sure have it harder at some points like I too can write an essay about how easy it seems to get addicted to porn as a guy but there are other issues where I have it easier.
So I don´t see much of a point to enter that movement or start something similar.
I think they're pissing into the wind. A minority of men have no chance of stopping the decline of western society. The most anyone can do is make young guys aware of the stakes and the odds when it comes to relationships, and everyone will make their own choices. Personally, after a couple close calls I learned to quit gamble with resources that life gets really tough if I lose. It's simply not worth it. I can have a lot of fun on low 6 figures, but not if I screw myself and only end up with a small portion of it to live on.

Can't get with it. When I was a teen I used to think they were a cool and necessary group, but getting older I realized they're not that important. Reason being that men made the rights, so how can we not have them?
The movement is misdirected because it should be targeting male lawmakers, CEOs, etc. who enable women to do the things they do like abusing sexual harassment, sleeping with students, trying to get money from fraudulent divorces, etc. And they need to be teaching individual men about how to be observant of women and how to handle the dirty ones.
I think life in general is difficult more for some than others depending on the actions they choose that lead to better/worse outcomes and mating quality prospects over time + their starting point in life.
Thats nature - nature can be both pleasurable and cruel, and we get over it and adapt. Or nature overcomes us. Thats the way its always been and always will be for himans. Exploit it to your advantage to make good choices and thrive, or give up and become miserable and die - nature moves on with or without you and does not care. So have as much fun while your here as you can, learn to push past the struggles - and do the best you can. Thats it. Its that simple.
That's not what it's about. It's about how men are being discriminated against by society and law. They are not "Moaning" or "Crying". They are trying to raise awareness that men are being purposely being left behind and discriminated against while women continue getting more attention and perks even though it's men who are suffering most.

They're angry, ageist, sexist and misogynistic guys that make overgeneralizations about women, because they've had a few bad experiences, or think that the world owes them something and refuse to work on self-improvement. in my opinion they're as bad as third wave feminists and I have no sympathy for anyone with this behavior

Yeah, the problem with movements that are about gender rights or gender equality is either side could find things to be pissed about and they would be justified. However, often times it's a larger societal issue than just something the other gender has said and done.
Without a revolution that may not be possible in a high tech society, it really doesn't matter because the men in the MRM have no power. Like in almost all societies, a few (perhaps 1 in 10,000) have all the power and make the rules the rest of us must follow. Voting, when allowed, makes no difference because those at the top own and/or control the schools and the media; and, if necessary, count the votes.
They are more like anti-women's rights.
There are valid concerns that men can fight for but I don't see MRA really standing for them. They really just care about bitching about women.
I honestly don't know what your stance is. Are you advocating for the third wave of feminism which is essentially misandry? Or are you singling out men that are actually misogynistic? Because expecting women to act like decent human being isn't misogynistic, when it's the same expectation said person has for men.
They all have a very legitimate points. But most men who think and believe in this are afraid to speak up in public about it. Also I do believe that most western men are noticing and getting incredibly angry and disillusioned about radical feminism has done to western society.
However most guys are afraid to actually take action and I do have a detailed theory why.

I think they need to get a life and realize that the women they hate could not have existed without men encouraging them to do so in hope of easy sex.
I'd have to hear more to judge. I think it's good for men to come together for the betterment of men. But whining about women is not going to make progress.
