If a woman is new to a job and her male managers are picking on her, what does it mean? Does it mean they like her or dislike her?

You know how they say; if a male teases you or picks on you; than it often means that he has a thing for you…

But if most of them are male managers in a job, and most of them are bullying and picking on her.. what exactly does it mean? Specially if she’s unattractive and not much to look at..

If she’s overweight or has a defect. And those men / male supervisors are always picking on her and trying to do low-key bullying to her?

They only like you because they are forced to like you. You are jumping to all kinds of conclusions are asking for trouble. You should be focusing on being professional and doing quality moment-to-moment Work. This is not a beauty or "Like Me" contest. Do good work and everyone will like you. If you work poorly, it will be clear that you are disliked.

I did my job. I dressed professional. And they still behaved like that with me.
I didn’t do SHT to them.

It can mean many things:

1. They are merely offering correction and she is hyper sensitive.
2. They are poor managers and do not know how to encourage and motivate.
3. They might be insecure in their positions and worried that she is being trained to replace.

In that instance I would have faced up and asked them what exactly the problems were, and if failing to get a satisfactory answer I would have taken this to the company's HR department.
