Long story short I WAS talking to this guy who is still in love with his ex fiancé that ended over 4 years ago. He hasn’t slept with anyone since then and he doesn’t plan on a relationship as he thinks she’s coming back. I don't know i ended things but just curious if anyone has dealt with this and what the outcome was hahaha
she is also in a relationship with someone else who she is living with so I’m not sure if he has just high hopes

This guy is still healing from the damage of whatever happened and clearly not healing well. Even if someone went into a relationship with him, he would drop it in a second if this same woman said she wanted to get back with him. It's unhealthy, it has to do with how he craves external validation on a regular basis from women and this one woman in particular was the main reason he had that validation for a long time and doesn't know how to cope without it. He needs therapy, not a girlfriend.
