I know it sounds messed up.. but I still love my ex boyfriend and can't let go of him but I don't want to wait around for him to mature up

What to do if I'm still in love with my ex but currently in a relationship with another man?
If your ex wasn't abusive, cheating, or extremely neglectful, then you should have just grown with him and let him grow with since we all grow and change throughout our entire lives anyway. You should look to actually earn that place as the love of a man's life instead of just hopping on his bandwagon during the good times, or when he seems to have everything going or perfect.
But now you've made a mess and you've got to face both your conscience and your current lover. It's only fair that you be open with your situation to him and tell him the truth in person. Don't awaken someones feelings for you if you don't have the will to commit and abide by the other person's sexual boundaries.
Just know that, in every relationship, each person has equal rights to say no, whenever they want
For you, I would say, consider taking a short break from both of them before you make a decision. The one who knows how to treat a person will definitely respect you and give you the space.
If both of them do, which I think is probably very rare, then it's upto you to find out ;-) But, it's good because, then both would probably respect you saying 'no' them.
Realize that you can love someone but that they might not be right for you. Just allow the old love to fade and really focus on the positive things about your current boyfriend. As you focus more on the new it will get better. If something magical happened and you both were single again tomorrow your ex's immaturity wouldn't have gone away that fast unless something major in his life happened to change him rapidly. If you got back together tomorrow after about 8 hours at the most you would remember why you broke up in the first place.
I feel bad for your new boyfriend you're just using him as a rebound because you can't be on your own, break up with him. If you still love your ex and he wasn't toxic, you could try to get back together and if he doesn't want to I recommend to stay single for a while till you get over him until you feel you can fully commit to a new partner without thinking of your ex x
Go for the one you love - its fair for your current partner that he finds somebody who has his undivided attention. And if you are having doubts now - it will grow worse as more temptations and men walk in and out of your life. Stay with somebody who can hold your attention.
My friend went through the exact issue. She left him for being immature and she was dating a lovely man but she still felt connected to the ex. After 2 years, she met her ex and found him to have matured and grown up more and so she left her current boyfriend and went back with her ex and she's very happy.
You know what they say, you can't move on to a new relationship until you are totally over the last one. What you have is a rebound and they usually don't work out as long as you still carry the torch for another. I suggest you not be in a relationship until you move on from the last one as it is not fair to the current rebound.
Break up w your boyfriend. You are with him because he was a crutch or a proximity infatuation. If you were truly into him you wouldn't be thinking about your ex. Now when you do break up with him, don't get back w your ex. It didn't work out for a reason. Be single and work on meeting new men that will rock your world and not have whatever was missing a the ex you broke up with.
Let that mango, the poor guy. You’re clearly not into your boyfriend so why are you wasting both your time. I say break up, its not fair on either of you. Get back with your ex if he feels the same way, it may have just been that the timing wasn’t right before.
Don’t play your current partner and be fair. Tell them how you feel and make it an end.
Contact your ex and see what you can do, and if it doesn’t work out. Take some time alone. You need to get over it before you get in the next relationship
you have to choose one, and the other one u have to separate and move on. i know this is difficult for you, but if they find out this in the future then you'll be messed up again.
If he's matured a bit you could give your ex a chance. If not, you might want to take a break from the dating scene so you're ready for a new relationship when you find someone. It sounds like you are with the wrong guy at this point in time.
