Why would a guy do this?

We are both 17. So there's this guy that we are extremelly close we talk we go sometimes home together. I know him for 14 years but we started talking last year. I mean were both comfortable with eachother we talk from social media too etc. But i catched feeling in January and now i have very strong feelings for him. The previous day we talked and he was smiling while talking and teasing me in a funny way. We have a lot of gcs he created etc. I posted a video on tiktok with my bestfruend and her brother and posted a story with her brother in close friends while he was doing something funny then i noticed all the comments he had made on my other videos were deleted. He had deleted every single comment. I felt so bad tbh because i was like did i do something wrong maybe he doesn't want to be my friend anymore and is cutting ties or something. I feel extremely stressed. When he sees me he always smiles and he called me a real friend 4 days ago but why would he delete all the comments..

I remember i posted a video with my notes and he said notes from ohio and the other one was with my best friend that "a kiss will not destroy our friendship" and my bestfriend was looking at me and i was like bro noo and he commented she only wants to smell you🥰. We were sending childhood pictures and i was making fun of him and he said "childhood real friends can't get rid of y'all " as a joke. I dont know whats going on
