Accidental pregnancy can happen when a woman has unprotected sex or the contraceptive method fails, such as a condom breaking or a missed birth control pill. Plan B is a form of emergency contraception that can be taken up to 72 hours after unprotected sex to help prevent pregnancy. However, it is not always effective and should not be relied upon as a regular form of birth control.
Some women may not be aware of Plan B or may not have access to it, while others may choose not to take it due to personal or religious beliefs. Additionally, Plan B is not effective if pregnancy has already occurred, so if a woman does not take it in time, she may still become pregnant.
It is important to note that pregnancy can take several days to a week or more to be detected by a pregnancy test, as it takes time for the fertilized egg to implant in the uterus and for pregnancy hormones to build up in the body. It is recommended to take a pregnancy test about two weeks after unprotected sex or a missed period to confirm pregnancy.
Having a irregular cycle is why I got accidentally pregnant 3 times. The 1 time I planned a pregnancy it was super difficult cuz of the Irregular cycles too so it causes issues both ways.
