Guy acting “tough” when I talk to another guy? Why do guys do that when they aren’t tough?

This guy is a “nice guy” and has a sweet/nice personality. The guy I was having a conversation with was a bit buff and looked like he could fight… but the look he gave him was so piercing and fierce.

Jealous, anger, territorial. Just cause someone looks like they can fight doesn’t mean they can. A man who is nice isn’t always weak. There are men who have monsters in them that they’ve learned to control which I think is a good thing and should only rear it’s head when necessary.

They have a lack of self confidence or it’s a good friend and it’s another way to talk smack/joke with them.
