I noticed boys tend to look at me more when I wear feminine outfits, why is that?

For additional context, I usually just wear casual clothes most of the time. Nothing in particular to stand out, however recently I decided to wear something a bit more comfortable. I basically decided upon wearing a skirt and a blouse.

Suddenly, I catch some guys looking twice at me. I'm I just overthinking it? Or do guys really find this kind of stuff to be cute? I'm not the type of person who really goes all out for the cutesy outfits, but I'll admit, it's nice sometimes...

I think that's because the clothes they make for women are made to highlight their best features. Some have great legs, some have nice waist size etc. If they wear loose tomboyish clothes their best feature gets hidden/becomes barely noticeable but when they wear something like a sundress with a belt around the waist or a cute peplum top with skinny jeans or simply a bodycon dress, it makes women 10x more attractive in most guys eyes because they suddenly notice some of the things about you that makes you physically attractive. Also many men prefer women that are very feminine. Wear feminine clothes and act like a lady, lol. As they say opposites attract.

Yeah, I can only they, that is what I experience too. There is a huge difference in what attention I receive depending on how I dress. I have to say I normally dress quite feminin and people often think that is meant inviting to male attention. Its hard to dress in a way that I do like and doesn't give false hope to men.

I always find girls in skirts a turn-on. I think it has something to do with it showing more of her legs, and I think the legs on a girl are hot. Then when a girl wears nylons, wow, that really makes my teapot steam up, lol.

There are some outfits that do look more attractive on a girl and bring out more of her facial features. That's probably why more guys were checking you out. Another reason, they get to see more parts of you the more skin you show.

Because it´s especially attractive to us guys and it catches our attention especially if it´s not the norm.
So I´d assume it´s because women nowadays tend to wear the same or similar outfits like guys do and since those "boyish" outfits don´t show off the female body like a skirt or dress do it´s easier to catch a guy´s attention with the later.

It could be because of nice legs, figure, butt.
It makes no difference skirt or pants to me. Nice is nice and I find it to see a woman leaving or going to be attractive if you know what I mean. Boobs are nice but the hips with a gap are the sexiest to me.
How a person dresses in general is attractive in some case by it's self though, that will be my guess.
