Do girls dress a certain way for male attention?

Question

I have a feeling girls won’t want to admit it but do they? I’ll give you an example, I am trying really hard to get into great physical shape, so I feel good, respect from men and of course hit more points with the ladies. Is it same for women?

You will commonly see girls dress out there, wearing next to nothing.

If depends on the woman some do yes I think people are pathetic who just need attention from the opposite sex all the time. It’s like why not just find someone you genuinely make a connection with?

Many do it though because it’s a easy cheap ego boost. They can’t find their self worth in themselves or find a passion. It’s just needing male attention as well as female attention too some love making other women jealous.

It’s cringe and just avoid women who do that. Many are promiscuous and will cheat on you.

Your wrong interpretation doesn't make it true.

They dress they way that they "look good and stylish."

They don't want me whistling at them or trying to ask them out!

That is not what they want nor intentions.

It depends on the context and the girls lol. If it's for a date or if you're single, then obviously the way you dress can be partly for "men", but it's not even sure because it depends on the girl's personality, she may like to dress in a feminine way, to look pretty etc. simply because it's what makes her feel good.

I like dressing up, looking pretty etc. simply because I like it. I like clothes, I like wearing things that make me feel feminine.

I know how to dress for what I want. And now that I'm in a relationship I know how to dress to keep him happy, which a lot of girls don't keep up with. "Oh I have a boyfriend now so I can look like a slob all the time and it doesn't matter." I was the one who used to take your boyfriends.

Doing it for themselves means they're doing it because it makes themselves feel good to be exposed to men. It's a form of exhibitionism. It's natural and normal. Even taken women do this, because they enjoy it, plus it ups their chances for an upgrade.

It's usually to show off to each other. The question of  when  a woman dresses a certian way is a more accurate way to guess if she is doing it for men. In general if a woman is going to dress a certian way for men's attention it's going to be Friday nights.

Girls have a far wider range of clothing options, I would say 90% of the time it’s what they like and the rest is based on what they are doing, going shopping, out at a restaurant, drinks with friends etc. Yes there will be an element of I look great and I know guys will check me out, however for others that would be scary and not what they wanted,

I think on Friday and Saturday night they do. I guess it could almost be subconscious in on those go out on the town nights that it is appropriate to short skirts & show cleavage. i. e. dress sexy.

But then it is young women, as a class, dressing for men as a class. So it sort of amounts to the same.

I don't know maybe women will say it's the same for them
but from what I've observed and heard from other people, women don't put as much effort into their physique, and they dress in increasingly trashy and tasteless ways
this makes sense given the evolving cultural values around female beauty standards and the importance of believing that fat = beautiful
