I am really hard to open up, I admit that, lol. I'm an INFP personality, so being a shy introvert probably has something to do with it. A girl can get me to open up if she earns my trust or sometimes it's the way she speaks to me. If she knows how to read me and talks to me in a soft voice and knows that I need someone to talk to and will not leave it alone until I open up, I know she's good at reading me, and I respect her for it.

And if a girl gives me a hug out of nowhere because she sees that I'm feeling really down, even though I swear I'm OK, I will definitely open up. Of course, I've never told them that though, lol

Ill be straight honest, I will only ever open up to you if I trust you... Even that, Is sometimes hard to do considering I've told someone from work that I trusted and she told people shit behind my back so as much as we are still friends, She doesn't know half the stuff that I used to tell her.

I don't even open up to family about anything.. Currently I've been dating this girl for about 3 months and only very few people know about it which does not include family

As a rule, this is something that men should not do. The only time an exception might be made is if the woman has proven herself to be supportive and loyal and has truly won your trust. Far too many women will lose attraction to their man if he does this, and many will also use these feelings and vulnerabilities against him next time she's upset at him for something, which are both reasons why men tend to keep these things to themselves. nothing. actually ooening up has proven to be the downfall of her desire statistically speaking. women loose a portion (sometimes all) desire to stay with guy if he shows the slightest weakness/vunerability due to part of the hard wired biology in most women

The woman panel was obviously very sexist. One of them said that she found that she couldn't respect a male actor whose part required him to cry. They all agreed that they simply didn't know what to do if a man was highly emotional.

There was also a male dating consult who summed up with "that's why I recommend not to show emotion to my clients"

I'm always open about my emotions, but almost all women find it a turn off, from my experience. You want an emotionally open guy, but don't want to deal with or listen to his emotions & problems, because it is inconvenient and slightly uncomfortable for you. Best to keep ones emotions to themselves and let the stress build up till you can let it out when you're alone.¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When I feel comfortable to do so. Likely at least a few months. I don't trust easily and am very closed off most of the time but there are a few people that I have opened myself up to. And sadly for the most part it's ended up worse for me. I wish I had someone I can be open with and actually me around.

@ pinay_ako because it is very dangerous for a guy to do that. it is viewed as a weakness and even by those not in some sort of romantic relationship with a guy who shows that side, often it gets used against him (something like 75% to 90% of the time)
