What's behind this answer?

So I'm kind a seeing a guy very casually. He gets up early the days he has to work. I'm going over to his house tomorrow. I asked what time he had to go to bed (so I would know what time I'd have to leave) he answered I dont know yet. I then asked what time I should leave. He answered: when you want to.

I'm very confused now.. is he telling me I'm welcome as long as I'd want to stay? Or is he completly indifferent?

• Last time I went to him he said I could stay the entier weekend (I couldn't but I found it sweet he said so)

You should stay the night. Get up in the morning with him and eat breakfast with him. If he is okay with you staying after he leaves the do so just long enough to clean up from breakfast and see if he appreciates it. This would let you know how to progress in the relationship.
