Why am I having more success with men now that I’m more average looking?

I used to be beautiful and slim and guys just wanted to be my boyfriend so they could have sex with me. It seemed like very few took me seriously. Now I’m chubby and mildly pretty, like most pretty, everyday women (much like Bridget Jones, from Bridget Jones’s Diary). Not unattractive but nothing extraordinary. Recently I’ve had more offers for sex and twice as many men wanting to be my boyfriend for Who I Am. They’re attracted still? But not to the point where they forget to see me. I also have better self esteem now. Is it about confidence, the fact that there are guys that like bigger women, or that men are more mature when they’re older? Why is this? My looks definitely haven’t improved.

Yes men are generally more mature as they age. But it just as likely you're more mature and simply choosing better men. Also confidence is king. Everybody is attracted to confidence (both men and women).

I’m definitely not model material. Never was that pretty. But I started off beautiful with a good body. Medication caused a big weight gain, which I haven’t been able to lose. So now I’m chubby.

So maybe you're more beautiful now than you were before 🙂. I honestly think a tummy is sexy and I think a full body is voluptuous. Just to be honest I would probably fantasize about a woman with your type of body than over a girl who was more slender.
