Long story short, I’ve been dating a guy for over a year now that has an anger problem. But ever since he let me meet his teenage daughter, whom he recently got full custody of, his mood swings have been worse.
two nights ago he invited me to stay over and I got up in the middle of the night around 3 AM to use the bathroom. When I went back into the bedroom, he cussed me out and said I was pissing him off & that I need to “get the f*ck out” of his house. So I had to drive home half asleep, and then when I got home, he texted me and accused me of going over to another dude’s house to have an orgy after I left his house.
later the next day, he didn’t understand why I was ignoring him, and I told him because I was hurt and confused by how he acted. And he said he didn’t even remember cussing me out, and that he didn’t realize I had left in the middle of the night until he checked his security camera.
He is an alcoholic, but I’ve never known him to get so drunk that he doesn’t remember some thing as significant as this. Because the whole conversation must’ve lasted five minutes while he was cussing me out. It’s not like he said one sentence and went to sleep.
