What does “happy with you” mean?

I had a colleague tell me that her and another one of our colleagues, who I work with often, were talking about me and that he was “happy with me”.

Lots of people have been seeing the value in what I bring to our company. So I’m thinking that’s what she meant, but that choice of words just felt kind of weird and why were they talking about me? Lol. Overthinking probably?

If it was in the context of a work setting then I think you are right that it means the value that you bring to your company. I do think believing that it means anything else is over thinking it. Someone is just recognizing the hard work you have been doing and the contributions to the company. I certainly wouldn't take it to mean anything negative lol. If it were me I would be really happy that I was noticed especially if I was working really hard. Good job!
