How come when men get close to me they always seem to keep talking about their experiences a lot?

It feels like they want to talk about themselves or their lives. some times ask about me.
I don't know if it’s just in my head or not. But I feel like maybe it’s a higher ratio of them talking about themselves versus when I get to talk about myself (I don’t want to much but I don't know I just feel like I’m doing a lot of listening and active listening. I don't know.
