he showed a lot of interest and he said he will make time for me and send photos and videos too… the last message I got was I’ll chat you tomorrow but he didn’t. I don’t want to come across desperate but how can I show im serious but don’t want to attack him but remind I don’t want to waste my time. Can I say « hi, hope you’re having lovely holidays. I understood we’d be in touch and you’re going to text me but haven’t heard from you »? Or what’s better?

I’d just wish him a happy holiday and leave it alone. He knows it’s been 3 days since he initially promised he’d contact you the next, and he will either do better about checking in with all his pics and vid’s, or he won’t. In any case, I’d be making a mental note of this and what it says about his character. Like will he be inconsistent going forward? Is he serious about pursuing something? I mean sure we could chop it up to him being busy with vacation but we all know sending a text (especially to a person you’re interested in) takes less than a minute. So if it’s not a priority just to see how you’re doing then maybe he isn’t very serious. Time will tell, but in the mean time I’d be leaving my options open and of course be ready to walk away from this situation if it becomes a waste of time.

Not at all, I think you may be worrying a bit too much about a simple comment. If it’s really troubling then you can word it however would make you feel most comfortable. Something like “hey, I just wanted to check in, hope you’re having a good holiday☺️” would even suffice. If you want to add the last bit of what you wanted to say then of course you can, but all it would warrant you is a lackluster apology and I actually think that’s the bit which would make you sound ‘desperate’. If you want to avoid those negative feelings altogether then say nothing, spread your eggs from out of one basket and explore your options, as means of a distraction at the very least. See if you hear from him today, even tomorrow and ask yourself what it means to you when it comes to his ability to prioritize you. For instance, I’m not so sure I’d be happy knowing a man can comfortably go days without talking to me, and who’s ok with breaking a promise. Does that mean more disappointment in the future?
