He hasn’t messaged for three days whilst on vacation. Should I be worried?

I’ve been seeing a guy for a month. Things have been going really well. We’ve spoken every day, all day for the last month. He texts me all the time, we phone, FaceTime. We’ve been on several dates.

He went on vacation last week and I heard from him for a few days as normal. His bestfriend is living out there and they haven’t seen eachother in over a year. Since meeting up with his friend, I haven’t heard anything for three days. I know that he’s with his friend and they are busy. I don’t expect to hear from him every minute of the day, and I want them to have time together.

I’m just worrying that by not hearing from him, just a single text, that he’s no longer interested or they are with other girls.

Should I worry or is not hearing from him normal?

This happened to me two weeks ago, and we broke up after. I reached out to her several times and was put on red. Eventually she did reply back once and said she'd get back to me after I asked how things were going. She said she was busy at the moment but would get back to me I sounded kinda serious and made a comment about the quality of our conversation. The next day, I let my anxiety get the best of me and questioned the status of our relationship, and she got upset and said I was running her vacation.

She ended up breaking up with me because, "we wanted different things." By that I think she meant that I desired kids, and she didn't. It was dumb. I really wanted to make things work. And I wouldn't send that text again the next day after she said she was busy. What made matters worse is I broke my phone before she left for vacation, and we couldn't have a normal conversation over the phone over it. I felt disrespected though and it hurt that I was putting more into it

In regards to your situation.. I don't know why he hasn't talked to you in 3 days. If I was on vacation, I'd still make time and check up on the person I was dating. What you can do, is reach out to him and ask what he's doing. But don't freak out over it. Act casual. You could also wait until he comes back too.
