Guys: Girls in plaid shirts?

I own one plaid shirt and love it, so I'm definitely not planning to stop wearing it just because guys might not like it. :P That said, I'm curious: I always figured guys liked plaid shirts on girls, or were at least okay with them-- all of my guy friends seem to be. But I was reading an article recently where a bunch of guys were ranting about how masculine and ugly they look.

So guys, what do you think of girls wearing plaid shirts? Something like this:

It depends on the type of plaid!

I tend to associate it with my more masculine friends (male and female) and I've yet to find a shirt of it that I've liked. Most are too boyish for me. I've seen lots of feminine girls pull it off though, and it's been quite popular the last few years around here. We're also out in the woods...aha. XD

I love it on guys and I like to wear it myself as long as they are fitted otherwise I use it open with a tank top I like the second link...

I have a couple actually but I think they are pretty girlie the ones I own

I voted ugly. In the three links you posted, I only liked the third. I might be wrong, but the third model came across as more pixiesh, and the sort of 'tough' look of the black pants/flannel shirt contrasted. Note it was pretty body conscious though.

In general, I'd avoid.

Yeah, plaid's very attractive. I mean, I guess I'm not attracted to the women in the links because they look like they're in their mid-30s(lol), but plaid looks great! I like it when girls wear blue or green plaid, It gives them a sort of pretty and fun look.

I think they're okay, I don't like them closed I would leave it open and have a plan top under it, maybe a black plan top, I don;t think I would really wear it though

Id say there is no middle ground. The girl either pulls it off or she doesn't. In my opinion, most girls don't look good in plaid, just the rare few.

I only really like the first one but when I see girls on the street wearing them I think they look hot.

My guy friends always notice when I wear plaid. I think it's cute, and so do they, apparently.

Plaid is not my thing...so I picked ugly...its only cool to wear as p.js for me.
