+1 yMy experience is that a lot of guys want a girl with less strength and audacity then themselves, cause they want a woman with behaviour that is predictable that does not threaten their sense of comfort or personal boundaries. I remember when a guy maligned me with incorrect statements about my behaviour and when I was able to prove to him he was incorrect, I asked him to go to the people he slandered me to to tell them he made an error in judgment and he refused to do it cause he could not handle the humiliation of being viewed as a liar and false witness, so he was just going to let the people he slandered me to believe the incorrect things he said about me.
Later when I was verbally hostile with him for refusing to go to the people he talked to about me and apologize, he accused me of humiliating him and harassing him because I made him anxious and agitated with my demanding nature. He even threatened to punch me in the face if I embarrassed him further. Apparently I was no longer worthy of respect in his eyes because my personality had made him uncomfortable. He is now morbidly obese which I think is punishment for refusing to tell people he made an error in judgment.

Us girls are just too hot for them
313 opinions shared on Guy's Behavior topic. Confidence is believing in yourself. When people feel a need to prove that to others and be in their face, that shows insecurity, not confidence. Not all men like the competition that comes from the second perceived confidence. It's not that they're intimidated; some people just don't want to bother with those who have that attitude. Divas can be seen as confident, yet that behavior can be a turn off to others. Truly confident people aren't threatened by differences in others and don't push their agenda onto others. If it's obvious, it's not confidence.

If they're deemed attractive then it makes them more attractive, and if they're deemed unappealing, it makes them come across as a skeevy creep. No wants to be hit on by someone they find ugly and annoying.

+1 yBeing intimated can mean they like that about them. I’m intimidated by gorgeous women, but not because I don’t like them. Quite the opposite. Same for confidence, intelligence, creativity, etc. When I’m intimidated by women I’m questioning my own value, not theirs.

Questioning if I’m in her league, basically.
Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yThe only thing a man may be intimidated by when it comes to a girl is her looks. Other than that it’s not intimidation, it’s usually because she’s annoying that men don’t want to deal w her. But women tell theirselves these things to make them feel better about their situation, usually about being single. Most single women who can’t find a man are usually argumentative, masculine, things men don’t want.

I'm femininity itself
Opinion Owner+1 yThen you shouldn’t have a problem w men. Not the way masculine women do.
I am not intimidated by confidence at all. The problem for us guys is that confidence normally means a high maintenance, never happy, rude, money hungry woman.

+1 yIntimidated by confidence?
Give me an example? Define the actions/behaviors you are defining as being/acting confident?
20 Reply confidence is not feminine enough.
also confidence and vanity is 2 thing that looks so similiar to each other and no one likes a vain woman (aside from cucks/simps)
12 Reply- +1 y
How is it not feminine
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yUgh. Another woman who thinks men are scared of their “confidence.”
You know who says that?
Women that no one likes being around.
