Why has my coworker said I’d make a good housewife twice?

We have a keurig machine and it’s starting to leak bad. Twice in the last week I was caught off guard and it spilled on the floor. Since I made the mess, I mopped it up. Both times one of my (married) coworkers said “you’ll make a man a good house wife one day.” We work the same full time job and I’ve never said anything about wanting to be a house wife. I’m not even offended, just confused his to take it, especially now with him saying it twice

It’s a joke made in poor taste, and quite sexist and unnecessary. I, personally, would tell him that he is being inappropriate, and if it continues to report it to upper management.
